As you guessed it I am as conservative as they come. I believe in the sanctity of life and a freedom of religion for all men. I believe that the best government is a small government whose main goals are “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”.  I enjoy the discussion of the taboo themes most of all - religion and politics.

Here are the rules to my blog. You may launch an attack on a single subject at a time using scholarly sources and opinon based on those sources. Defense to the attack must then be presented also using scholarly and reputable sources. The original attack must then counter the defense using the same methods. This is to continue until that particular argument plays out or there is an impasse.

Launching salvos and running (guerilla tactics) are not permitted here. We debate things logically and rationally using scholarly sources that would be allowed in academic circles until all parties agree to move to another topic.

There will be no profanity allowed.

Any links to external sites will have to be moderated (due to a few unscrupulous individuals posting links to pornographic sites).

I understand that in the discussion of politics and religion things can get quite heated rapidly, however, I encourage all participants to try to maintain an academic decorum. Personal attacks will not be tolerated! Good natured ribbing and sarcasm is acceptable.
